Can I use the trailer plug to power other stuff, like lights or small devices?

I believe that's for the roof rack.

Try resetting your car's system first. If that doesn't work, you can disconnect and reconnect the 12v battery. That might clear the message.

It'll be just fine. It's just a little difference. You can try to test fit it first for peace of mind.

My 2022 e-tron hasn't given me any headaches so far.Perhaps it's because they've fixed some issues since the initial model year, which is when yours came out.
