You have forgotten to say about Duke Energy who launched a project to increase the number of charging stations by 30% in North Carolina. And guess what? Charlotte Area is a key location.Hi, even though I am around 650 miles away from the Charlotte area, haha, I thought I could help your friend (considering she is a girl ). So, I made some research.
There are some hotels with electric car charging, as The Rits-Carlton, Residence Inn and Double tree Hotel Charlotte (Gateway Village).
There are A LOT of public charging stations (lvl 1, lvl2 and even DC fast charging stations).
The city of Charlotte-Concord-Gastonia has a total of 1,368 public charging stations, with 271 of them being free EV charging stations (fact).
So, tell her not to be worried about finding charging stations.
BTW, is she alone?
Joking. I hope it helps.
Make sure she grabs the PlugShare app, it's a total lifesaver for finding nearby charging stations. Super handy for locating chargers on the go! And don’t forget to recommend to her the ABRP app too. It helps her map out trips and makes sure her ride and the charging spots can handle the adventure. Perfect for road trips! My friend is thinking about buying an Q4, but she's worried about finding charging stations. Are enough charging stations available? She's in the Charlotte area.
Yep, you are right! I just read about it a few moments ago. Thanks for the heads up!You have forgotten to say about Duke Energy who launched a project to increase the number of charging stations by 30% in North Carolina. And guess what? Charlotte Area is a key location.
So yeah, Charlotte is a major hub for electric vehicle drivers. So no worries for your friend @brocky.
