Do wider tires ride smoother?

I’m not particularly familiar with the wheels size, but i want to know what could be the benefit if I will try to size up my tire to 23. Or just stay on the safer side?

Consider first the road condition in your area. If it's bad, then choosing 23" wheels isn't a nice choice.

Your question is incorrect. Instead of wider tires, it should be "bigger wheels", the bigger the wheels, the harsher the ride will be.

It still depends on the road condition and the suspension that you have, the shock absorbers is the key to this. Its better if you'll stay on the safer side if you still cant decide.
