Hey Q4 owners, I need advice, please.
I’ve got my eye on a used 23 Audi Q4 35 that my neighbor is thinking of selling. Super curious about what you all think of this ride! Any quirky issues I should watch out for? Like, what kind of problems have you bumped into, and how often do they show up? And what’s the real-world range like - am I gonna be cruising or constantly hunting for a charger?
Any other stuff I should know about?

Love to hear your tips and experiences!
Thanks, Chris

Hey, congrats! And I hope everything goes well.
1. As a matter of fact, the car has an official range of 212 miles, but expect to be around 175-180 miles in everyday driving, because of factors like temperature, terrain, and driving style.
2. Home charging takes around 12 hours to fully charge.
3. Expect decent performance, do not expect something exceptional. It is good for daily driving. But in terms of performance, there are other electric SUVs that are better. Before buying mine, I almost quit the idea of buying it because of the performance, but then I thought I was taking it for common daily driving.
4. The interior, design, and tech features are based on preferences, so I would recommend asking your neighbor to give it to you for a test drive.
5. What I like the most about it is the comfortable seating for passengers. You will see why.

The only problem I had with it was a little one with the steering wheel controls.
I am curious how much your neighbor asks for it. Good luck!

Thanks for the info! That range sounds pretty solid for my daily grind. Really appreciate your thoughts on performance, just on the hunt for something comfy and reliable for zipping around the city.

Quick question about those steering wheel controls - was it just a little hiccup, or did it turn into something more serious? I'd love to get the scoop on that!

My neighbor hasn’t dropped a price yet, but I’m crossing my fingers for a good deal since he’s been driving it for a while. What’s the maintenance cost been like for you? Any sneaky expenses I should watch out for?

And yeah for sure, I’ll be asking for a test drive to check out the interior and all the tech goodies! Thanks.

Hey, I am glad the info helped! Yeah, the range is pretty decent for city driving.

Yeah, it was just a little hiccup. Just some occasional unresponsiveness. I got it fixed under warranty in no time. I haven't had any issues since then.

As far as maintenance costs go, it has been pretty reasonable. Since it is an EV, you won't have to worry about oil changes or anything like that. The main expenses I had were related to tire rotations and cabin air filters. Good luck with the deal, and definitely take it for that test drive to make sure it fits your needs.
