I’m having a bit of an annoying issue with the wireless charger in my car. Whenever I use it to charge my phone, I keep getting a reminder saying, “Your mobile device is still in the vehicle,” even after I’ve removed my phone from the charger. I hate it when this happens as I'm getting out of the car!

I know I can turn this voice reminder off, I'd rather leave it on in case I really do forget my phone. I want to know if anyone else has had this problem. Could it be a broken sensor that's picking up my phone in the cradle by accident? Have any ideas?

Ugh, I feel you! It’s like the system’s stuck in slow-mo, and we’re just waiting forever for things to happen. So frustrating!

It could be because of a wonky sensor or maybe the wireless charger is just a little off, making it think your phone's still hanging out. You could try giving the charging area a quick clean or fiddling with how your phone sits in the cradle.

It’s also worth checking for updates on your car’s infotainment system! Those software updates can work wonders and might just squash some annoying bugs. Give it a quick look!

Yeah, and to add, popping off that phone case can be a game changer too (assuming you have it), as it might be blocking the charging or the sensors. If that doesn’t do the trick, hitting up the dealership for a full check-up might be the best bet!

Appreciate the suggestion! It’s possible the sensor is acting up or the charger is just misreading things. I guess that happens to anything. I’ll give the charging area a quick clean and see if that helps, sometimes a little dust or dirt can mess with sensors like that. I’ll try adjusting how my phone sits in the cradle to see if it makes any difference.

Hopefully, it’s just a small issue and not something more serious. I’ll give it a shot and see if it fixes the constant reminders.
