Sorry to hear about the issue with your EV. Unfortunately, electrical faults can take time to diagnose. It’s common for dealers to take time, especially with complex systems.
A friend tried ordering the SQ6 too, his dealer’s “allocation” talk sounded like a bad breakup! He’s still “waiting for the right time,” but they just keep pushing dates around.
I think it might be possible to register multiple users for the Q6, but I’m not entirely sure. From what I’ve heard, it should allow different profiles, each with its own preferences.
That’s hilarious! :ROFLMAO: I guess we’re all adjusting to these quirks. It is a bummer when they change features that worked well. I’m definitely with you on hoping for a software update to bring back the good stuff!
I see what you're saying, but I still think it would be better if the audio turned off when the door opens. It just seems more intuitive, especially when you're parking and getting out. I hope there’s a way to adjust it.
Good point! I didn’t think about the door lock switch. I’ll give it a try with some lube first and see if that helps before considering a full replacement.
Thanks...I’ve heard of VCDS but haven’t used it before. I’ll look into it and see if I can adjust the settings myself. If it gets too tricky, I’ll reach out to a pro..
If you're having issues with the High Beam Assist on your Q4-E, it could be worth checking if a Feature on Demand (FoD) code is needed to activate it, as these can sometimes cost around €550, or more, I am not so sure...
I’ve had issues with my radio stations getting deleted too, and it’s very frustrating not knowing what you might be missing. It seems like a problem across the entire Audi lineup, which makes it even more annoying.
Ohhhh I am not alone? What a relief, I was beginning to feel like everything was against me. I hope I get lucky like you and it magically fixes itself like yours did, but I agree, these software bugs make it feel like they rushed things a bit.
Honestly, it’s been running fine as far as I could tell, no warning signs before the update tried to happen. I guess the battery was just quietly plotting its rebellion!
Right? A little battery TLC never hurt anyone. Maybe it needed a bit more love and attention, not just sitting there, chilling out in the dark. I’ll be sure to ask if it got enough checkups, I might even bring it flowers next time. :D
Yupppp, I’ll definitely check my service records and reach out to the first dealer to see if they noticed anything earlier. I really need to know how long this has been going on.
