I’m on the hunt for some new tires for my GT and currently rolling with 20” Pirelli Cinturatos. I’m thinking of swapping them out for Michelins but wanted to get some real-world feedback. Anyone tried different tire brands on their GT? I want to make sure I don't negatively impact the range of the car though.

Hey @akaYogz,

Your size options are a bit limited, but if you’re up for non-standard sizes, you might find some cool picks! The only Michelin tire in 20" is the PS4 - solid performance, not the most efficient, but it should hold up against the Pirellis. By the way, how many miles did you get from those?

@KendallT8 is right. Michelin tires are a good choice, generally speaking. I just read many users reviewed them as being good.

@akaYogz, I went with Michelins, too. But just keep in mind that those are more performance-oriented, so you will see a little drop in range compared to the Pirelli. It depends on your priority: more spirited driving or maximizing efficiency?

Haha! I got into them recently. I am more into performance. Michelin also provides better handling and grip, which is a plus for my driving style. Unfortunately, I had to find the hard way that it is ok to monitor the tire pressure regularly. After I read the reviews (to reply to this post), I was convinced to buy them, too. Crazy!

We all learn the hard way, so don't worry! 💪
