I took my E-tron on a road trip, thinking I was all set with a full charge of 220 miles. But the GPS told me I wouldn’t make it, so I stopped to charge, which cost me about $22.50 for just 12 minutes! Sweating in 92-degree heat, I conserved AC in 10-minute bursts. I finally made it to my destination, but charging back to 100% set me back $25.30, and my total for the trip hit nearly $110!

I used to make that drive in my gas car without a second thought. In conclusion,. I think I’ll just rent a gas car next time, EVs are fun, but not road-trip ready yet!
