What an interesting week with my car...
I hope I get some advice from you guys.
I brought my Audi to a local dealer. Everything seemed ok until I got this error: The auxiliary climate control could not be started. A technical error occurred. This happened when I tried starting the auxiliary AC through the app.
After a longer diagnosis, the guy from there told me that the sensors were sending the correct amount of pressure to the computer, but he also found that the refrigerant levels were low. There was even some yellow staining. I assumed it was from the refrigerant.
More problems, of course:
- the warranty I have covers only the powertrain
- the bill is close to 3000$

What do you think?

That sounds super frustrating! Maybe it’s time to get a second opinion and let another mechanic take a look. You’d be surprised how different shops can come up with other solutions or even better prices. Don’t settle just yet!

Totally agree! Getting a second opinion is a smart move, they might sort things out for a way better price.

Whoa, that's a serious chunk of change just for a diagnosis! If you’re up for it, why not take a stab at checking the refrigerant levels yourself? Or see if you can dig up a DIY fix for that auxiliary AC issue.
