This isn't the first time my AC hasn't worked correctly. I believe a few days ago, when I went on long ride, it would just stop working out of the blue and wouldn't even turn on as it should. My car will be checked tomorrow. Maybe there's a leak or anything else wrong. Knowing that fixing it will be too costly worries me. Had this issues too?

It might be low on refrigerant. Try having a leak test first.

Any updates with this? I'm having similar problems with my A/C too, and my mechanic mentioned a possible leak in the expansion valve.

I'm having this issue as well and I'm still going to have mine leak tested. I'll expect maybe I have an issue with my expansion valve as what @itsme2 mentioned.

@CrazyCrop there are certain causes why your ac is acting up. It is quite hard to pinpoint what needs to be repaired or replaced. It is still best to visit your dealer and have them diagnose your car.
