I still remember that wild ride I had with my 2019 e-tron last winter! It was freezing, and outta nowhere, I got hit with the dreaded “electric system malfunction” message. Total freak-out moment! Luckily, my battery’s still under warranty, so the dealer’s hooking me up with a free replacement for the SX6 module (which would"ve cost me a whopping $6k!). Insane, right?

Now that winter’s creeping back, I’m just crossing my fingers that I don;t have to deal with that issue again.
Has anyone else been thru this, or know anything about this pesky SX6 module?

I have no idea either. That’s why I’m spilling my experience, just trying to figure things out and dodge this mess next time, especially with winter sneaking up way too fast!

So, who’s got the scoop on the SX6 module? Spill the tea, folks!

Have they told you a reason why the module has failed? Could be it because of the cold temperature?

I have the same problem with my first edition 2019 55 e-tron. The error appears only when is cold outside. I had the car in a warm workshop for a couple of days and no error. As soon as I drove it in cold temperatures below 5° C the error apperas. If I drive the car for more than 30 minutes, stop, switch off the car and then drive again no error! So defenetly it has something to do with cold weather. After it gets warm is ok. No issues.
