I’m swapping out the cabin filter on my 2019 Audi e-tron and I’ve run into a little problem. I’ve found the spot under the glove box and popped all the clips, but one on the right side just refuses to cooperate. I’m super paranoid about breaking it.Any tips on getting this stubborn clip off? Do I need to loosen a screw or is there some secret trick to this? Thanks in advance!

I’ve got a 2020 e-tron 55, and I’m not totally sure if it’s the same with yours, but for my ride, the cabin filter’s tucked away under and behind the glove box as well. You’ll need to pull off this foam cover that’s held on by some plastic pins - just give them a little yank and they come right off. You’ll also have to loosen a few bolts to let the glove box hang down so you can get to the filter box. For a clearer picture, you might want to watch some Audi Q8 cabin filter replacement videos on YouTube since their setup is quite similar.

I’ve been there with a tricky clip on my e-tron’s cabin filter. What worked for me was gently using a plastic trim removal tool to ease pressure on the clip while wiggling it free. It might also help to slightly push the panel inward before pulling the clip to release tension. If it’s really stubborn, try a flashlight to see if there’s debris blocking it. No screws involved, just good ol patience!

Just push the glove box slightly upward while pullin on the clip. It should relieve some of the tension. Also, don't forget to use a plastic trim tool rather than fingers, haha.
