Hey folks, quick query regarding the 93U9 recall on my Audi. So wondering if it's still cool to juice up to 100%, despite the recall and the 80% stickers slapped on it. I really wanna have this baby fully charged for my everyday long hauls! Any of you know if this might mess with the warranty or the recall coverage?

That sucks big time. Haven't received any emails/letters from Audi though. I might schedule a visit to my dealer to confirm if my car is part of the lucky drawers.

I really wouldn't recommend trying anything yourself. It's a serious issue, and you could make things worse. I'd strongly suggest contacting your dealer immediately and having them check the battery. I've seen some worrying posts on other forums about Audi restricting which chargers can be used on these cars apparently, they're blocking fast charging on vehicles with this battery problem. That sounds pretty serious, so it's definitely something you want to get checked out ASAP.

The 80% is there for a reason. There is a serious fire risk with the batteries when charged to full.

Try to get the service done as fast as you can.
