Audi has unveiled a new base version of its Q4 e-tron, the Q4 40 e-tron, which comes with a larger 63 kWh battery (59 kWh net), replacing the previous Q4 35 e-tron. The new version offers improved performance and extended range, further strengthening Audi’s electric vehicle lineup.
The Q4 35 e-tron featured a 55 kWh gross (52 kWh net) battery and a 125 kW electric motor, providing WLTP ranges of up to 365 km for the Sportback and 355 km for the SUV.
With the upgraded 59 kWh net battery in the Q4 40 e-tron, Audi now claims a range of up to 412 km, with the Sportback variant reaching 423 km. The new model is equipped with a more powerful 150 kW electric motor, delivering 310 Nm of torque, replacing the older 125 kW version.
Charging performance has also been enhanced, with the Q4 40 e-tron capable of charging at a maximum rate of 165 kW. Under optimal conditions, the battery can charge from 10 to 80 percent in just 24 minutes, with 150 km of range (155 km for the Sportback) replenished in just 10 minutes. In terms of driving performance, the Q4 40 e-tron accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 8.1 seconds, while the smaller ID.3 Pro achieves this in 7.3 seconds.
