I’m still really enjoying my e-tron, and I’m nearly done calculating my running costs for April. So far, I’ve only spent $29.12 on electricity this month. My previous car would’ve set me back around $400 in fuel by now, so I’m still pretty impressed with how much I’m saving. I’ve also spent $30 on car washes, which is wild, turns out keeping it clean costs more than the miles I’ve driven, haha! Next month, I’ll definitely have to wash it myself to save a bit.

I’m honestly shocked at how inexpensive it is to run this thing

My Audi dealer provides free car washes - maybe yours does too?

I’m almost at 6 months with my Q8 and have spent about $80 total for charging, and that’s with no home charging available to me.

That’s awesome! The fact that your car wash bill is higher than your "fuel" cost is hilarious. If you want to save even more, maybe look into waterless car wash sprays, they’re cheap, easy, and keep the car looking great without hitting the car wash so often. But either way, $29 for a whole month of driving? That’s a win!

Did you score any free charging when you got your car? I totally lucked out with 2 years of free charging from EA when I snagged my Q8 last year. So far, I’ve been cruising around without dropping a single dime on transportation! Feels like a win every time I plug in.
