I have a 2021 Audi e-tron Sportback, and I just noticed something odd. After getting home and turning off the car, I came back about 30 minutes later, and the MMI and radio were still on, even though the ignition was off.

I tried restarting the car, thinking it was just a glitch, but the issue didn’t go away. Has anyone else experienced this? Is there a setting I might have missed? Could this drain the battery if it stays on too long?

Yep, this is a known quirk with the e-tron MMI system.

🔹 Is the driver’s door fully closed before you exit? Sometimes the car doesn’t detect that you’ve left.
🔹 Try pressing and holding the volume knob for 30 seconds to force a shutdown.
🔹 Check if there’s a pending MMI software update, some owners had this issue fixed after a dealer update.

If none of that works, a hard reset (disconnecting the 12V battery for a few minutes) might help, but I’d try the simple fixes first.
