Power lock problem with ’21 Etron Issues

So while I was about to leave the house I noticed this weird noises coming from my passenger seat I thought maybe it’s nothing but then I cant open my passengers door and it locks itself. Well that was weird everything was fine then this happened just now? I was about to pick up my kids and I’m worried that it can cause some accidents or what. Have you had this problem too?

Experienced something similar wherein it glitches. I just close the door and press unlock/lock several times followed by pressing the start/stop button. Everything worked normally after. I guess this is how EVs behave sometimes.

This is a glitch that happened to me as well, a couple of times already actually. Just keep on pressing the unlock button and the start/stop button just like what @DXmuff mentioned. It works just fine but ofc its scary getting locked inside your car, might even think that a poltergeist is playing with you.

This electronic locking system is way over complicated for what it's supposed to do. It's missing some simple features, and honestly, it's causing more problems than it solves.

The other day, my back door wouldn't lock, and this warning popped up on the dashboard. I had to take it to the dealer, and they said my kids must have opened the door in a way that messed up the car's system, and now it won't lock at all. I mean, seriously, what is going on with this thing?
