I'm hoping for help with a problem I'm having with my ChargePoint HomeFlex charger and the app. Everything was fine up until two days ago, when it abruptly stopped connecting to the charger. When I try to reconfigure the Wi-Fi settings, I get a message stating that the app is unable to find any Wi-Fi networks. This occurs even when I am standing directly next to the charger in the garage, where my Wi-Fi signal is extremely strong.

I've tried resetting the router, restarting the app, and even unplugging the charger to see if that helped, but nothing has worked so far. Has anyone else had this problem? Is there a specific trick I'm missing to reconnect the app to the charger, or should I contact ChargePoint support at this point? I would appreciate any advice!

Oh man, I totally feel you! I had a similar deal after a month of smooth sailing too. So I just went ahead and uninstalled the charger from the app, flipped the circuit breaker, and let it chill unplugged for a bit. After letting it sit, I set it up again as if it were brand new, and it has been running perfectly after that. Wishing you the best - this charger is the bomb!

That sounds super annoying!
Have you tried forgetting your Wi-Fi network in your phone’s settings and then reconnecting? Also, double-check that the ChargePoint app is up to date. If that doesn’t do the trick, hitting up ChargePoint support might be your ultimate move. Good luck!

kinda good to know I’m not the only one dealing with this. I’ll give your method a shot, so it's uninstalling the charger from the app and flipping the circuit breaker sounds like a smart move. Letting it sit for a bit and treating it like a brand new setup might be just what it needs to reset .

I’ve tried the usual troubleshooting steps, but this seems like a more thorough approach that might actually do the trick. It’s a bit frustrating when everything’s working fine and then suddenly decides to stop, especially when you’re standing right next to the charger with full Wi-Fi signal!

Thanks for the tip! I’m crossing my fingers that this fix works, because aside from this hiccup, I’ve been loving the ChargePoint HomeFlex too. Thanks again!

Oh man, that's such a pain! It sounds like you've already done all the usual stuff, which is super annoying. It's really strange that the app can't even see the Wi-Fi when you're right there, especially with a strong signal. Hmm, a few things you could try before you give ChargePoint a call: just double-check your phone's Wi-Fi is actually on and connected sometimes the simplest things get missed! Also, have a look at the lights on the charger itself they might give you a clue. The manual should explain what they mean. If you have another phone or tablet, try the ChargePoint app on that to see if it can find the Wi-Fi. That'll help you figure out if it's your phone or the charger that's the problem. And, this is a long shot, but sometimes router settings can be weird. If you know your way around your router's settings, you could check if anything there is blocking the charger, but if you're not comfortable with that, don't worry about it. If none of that works, then yeah, definitely get in touch with ChargePoint support. They'll probably have some better ideas, and hopefully it'll be an easy fix.
