I’m curious if anyone here has experience with bidirectional chargers and has used one both to charge their Audi E-tron and to power their house using the car as the energy source. I’ve been looking into this setup and would love to hear any insights you all might have. especially regarding which models you’re using and how they’ve performed. 🤔

I’m seeing advertised charging speeds of around 11.5 kWh for both powering the house and charging the car, but I’d like to know how accurate those numbers are in real-world use. Any recommendations, tips, or feedback on performance would be really appreciated!

Are you talking about Walbox Quasar or Abb and Enphase models? The speed can vary, as you know, based on temperature, battery state, and grid demand. You might see around 9-10 kWh.

I have been looking into this too. The advertised rates are pretty optimistic. One friend who is electrician said to expect more like 9-10kW in real-world conditions, and that's if everything is optimal.
