I tried out the ACC and it was super weird! I set it to 80 kph, but when I drove by a 110 kph sign, it just boosted the speed. Is it really supposed to do that? I thought it wouldn’t go over my limit. Can I just turn off that sign recognition thing?
I understand this post been a while already, but yes, the e-tron’s ACC adjusts to speed limit signs, but you can turn off this feature in the settings. Just go to the ACC settings and disable "Traffic Sign Recognition." That should prevent it from boosting speed automatically.
That feature can be a bit unpredictable sometimes. If you still want to use ACC but without the sign recognition, disabling it is definitely the way to go. It’s handy for some, but I agree, it can catch you off guard.
