Anyone else kinda bummed about the outdated CarPlay/Android Auto in their older e-trons? I rented a newer model recently, and the Android Auto was sooo much smoother. My Pixel’s still stuck needing a USB cord for apps, while the rental had full Bluetooth sync. Is Audi ever going to give us early adopters an upgrade, or are we just left behind? Any tips to improve the experience in the meantime?

From an Android perspective, it all depends on your car’s head unit. I had a 2019 e-tron with USB Android Auto, but now my Q8 e-tron lets me go wireless. Just remember, it uses your phone’s Wi-Fi, so don’t get stuck with a data cap! The 2019 MMI is a bit behind, but maybe a car audio shop has some tricks up their sleeve.

That's good to know! I might need to explore the wireless options more, even if I gotta keep an eye on my data. Sounds like Audi’s dragging their feet on updates for us early adopters, though. I’m hoping they’ll at least give us something to make it feel less like we’re driving tech from the last decade!
